Meet Cory: Our Young, Enthusiastic Observer of Cultures & Cuisines
The first time we met was in April 2024, Cory Garvagalia, a lively young traveler from Denver, Colorado who also joined my home for a cooking workshop. The minute he got here his warm smile and affable manner put me at ease.
Cory has an amazing passion for travel and a real knack for noticing the subtle characteristics of the places and cultures he visits. Having visited over 10 countries and discovered the majority of the United States, his travel tips are second to none.
Cory is the inspiration for several blogs to come, where we will share his thoughts on all of the locations he has travelled to. He carries the history, aromas, tastes and goodwill of the people he meets. He also enjoys shopping for quality things and will contribute to our shopping blogs.
In September 2026, Cory took his love for adventure a step further by buying a camper van and setting off to travel while continuing his remote work. It is work on the go, new places to explore, and plenty of adventures along the way!
Cory's journey reminds us that travel is not just about the places we visit, but about how deeply we experience them.
